Kenneth Craig Noel, 55, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, in Plainview.
Kenny was born and raised in Plainview. He was the fifth son of Leon and Patricia Noel and was preceded in death by both.
He is survived by one younger brother, Tom, of Pratt, Kan., and four older brothers, Mike and wife Anna Noel of Sacramento, Calif., Gary and wife Brenda Noel of Fort Worth, Paul and wife Teresa Noel of Hot Springs Ark., and Jim Noel, also of Fort Worth. Kenny also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, over 40 cousins, three aunts and two uncles.
Kenny graduated from Plainview High School. He then obtained his auctioneer's license, after which he went into agriculture. Kenny worked in the Plainview area until early 1982 when he joined Stewart & Stevenson (a Houston-based company) where he worked for over 20 years. After leaving Stewart & Stevenson, Kenny returned to the Petersburg-Plainview area to work in agriculture. At the time of his death he was working for his two cousins, Jeff and Greg Noel.
Kenny was a longtime Dallas Cowboys fan. Kenny was baptized at the St. Alice Catholic Church and a lifetime Catholic. He will be sorely missed by his brothers, family and friends.
A rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today, Dec. 3, 2014, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Alice Catholic Church. Interment will follow the funeral at Plainview Memorial Park.
