Tinoco, Leticia Diaz

Leticia Diaz Tinoco, 58, of Plainview passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Kornerstone Chapel.

Leticia was born August 4, 1960 in Edinburg, Texas to Valeriano and Victoriana (Garza) Diaz. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1978 and graduated from South Plains College. She was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and grandmother. Leticia would do anything for anyone that needed help. She loved cooking for her family and loved listening to her oldies. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Marco A. Diaz and a grandson, Jorge Luis Tinoco, Jr.

She is survived by two sisters, Melba Herrera and Anna Lisa Diaz of Plainview; one brother, Jose Diaz and wife Martha of San Juan, Texas; one daughter, Valorie Torres; one son Jorge Luis Tinoco and wife Kimberly; six grandchildren, Makayla Torres, Samantha Tinoco, Chloe Torres, Mariela Tinoco, Andres Tinoco and Jordan Torres.
