Morales, Jessica Lee

Jessica Lee Morales, 45 of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11 o? clock in the morning on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Ignacio Soto, pastor at Templo Sinai, officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. An open visitation will be from 12-6 o? clock in the evening on Sunday at Lemons Memorial Chapel followed by A Celebration of Life Service beginning at 6. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jessica was born on May 10, 1974 to Jesse Morales and Elvia Higgins in Houston, TX. She received her GED and went on to achieve her Medical Office Specialist degree from American Commercial College in 2000. Some of Jessica?s favorite pastimes included: arts and crafts, camping, riding her Harley Davidson, singing and dancing, making jewelry and gardening. She also loved to cook for her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Jessica was a member of Templo Sinai and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe and Agustina Morales, Mary T. Vellejo and Reyes Hernandez.

Jessica is survived by her mother: Elvia Higgins; father: Jesse Morales; two sons: Aaron Morales and Joshua Cansino both of Lubbock; two daughters: Marie Ovalle and husband Shawn and Lisa Morales all of Lubbock; one brother: Nathan Higgins and wife Yoshko of Osaka, Japan; one sister: Charlene Higgins of Lubbock and six grandchildren.
