Bribiesca, Ciro,Sr.
Ciro Bribiesca, Sr., 83 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 1 o? clock in the afternoon on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o? clock in the evening on Wednesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Ciro was born on July 14, 1935 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Francisco and Juana Mendoza Bribiesca. Ciro married the love of his life, San Juana Castella?o, on September 9, 1955 in Durango, Mexico. They had almost 60 years of sharing a wonderful life together. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2015. Ciro was a hard-working family man and farmed most of his life. He retired in 1997 and he and his wife loved spending time in Mexico. Ciro treasured his family and enjoyed family gatherings and spoiling his grandchildren. He also had a passion for caring for his fruit trees in his orchard at home. Ciro was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: San Juana; one daughter: Susana Bribiesca; three brothers and two sisters:
Ciro is survived by three sons: Edward and Ciro Bribiesca, Jr. both of Plainview and Ramon Bribiesca and wife Carla of Amarillo; four daughters: Elva Bribiesca, Lorenza Fraire and husband Jose R., Eustolia Bribiesca all of Plainview, and Maria Belen Bribiesca of Dallas; two brothers: Santos and Idineo Bribiesca both of Mexico; one sister: Rosa Bribiesca of Mexico; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
