Alexander ?Andy? Hill, 61, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Clark and Rev. Phillip Hamilton officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A family visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Andy was born on May 4, 1957 in Hale Center, Texas to Jimmy & Lena Faye Hill. Andy lived in Plainview for 61 years. He graduated from Plainview High School and started a used car business at the age of 18. He owned and operated A&B Auto Sales full-time until 2017. Andy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church his entire Christian life. He was one of the key members of Bethel Baptist?s building program in the late 90?s and early 2000?s. When he wasn?t working hard to provide for his family or working for the church he enjoyed playing sports, watching sports, watching his kids and grandkids play sports, spending time with his family and friends and going gambling. Andy had true friends from all walks of his life because he was a true friend. He had many people who loved him like family because he loved them like family. If you were special to him you knew it and his family knew it too.

Andy is survived by his parents, Jimmy & Lena Faye Hill of Plainview; one brother, Johnny Hill & wife Pat of Plainview; his children, Bracken Hill & wife Heather of Plainview, Mica Henson & husband Wes of Bronte, Alex Hill & wife Devin of Lubbock and Colby Hill of Plainview; his grandchildren, Kylee Hill, Emilee Hill, Anna Henson, Charis Henson and Xander Hill and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
