Freddie Savage, 71, of Plainview, TX, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2019. A memorial service will be held at Bartley Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019. A visitation will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on January 18, 2019 from 6-8 p.m.

Freddie was born on July 15, 1947 in Paris, TX to James and Olivia (Carreathers) Savage. He worked as a cook at Nu-Griddle for many years. He was a successful man who loved to laugh and cared deeply for his family and friends. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and dogs. He gained the respect of those who knew him and the love of children. He will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Debbie Bull of Plainview, TX, his daughters; Stacy Bull of Plainview, TX, Tracy Bull of Plainview, TX, and Tammy Savage of Amarillo, TX, a son; Freddie Savage Jr. of Amarillo, TX, brothers; Charles Williams of Dallas, TX and George Williams of Tulia, TX. Three grandchildren who lived with him; Elizabeth, Eliah, and Ethan Ybarra. Ten grandchildren in all who he cherished. And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Freddie is preceded in death by his parents, twin brother; Eddie Savage, brothers; L.D. Williams and Robert Earl Baker, and sister; Catherine ?Toots?.
