Magana, Manuel Jesus

Manuel Jesus Maga?a, 75 of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2 o? clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely celebrating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o? clock in the evening on Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Manuel was born on December 24, 1943 to Cipriano and Felipa Maga?a in Rodriguez Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He married his loving wife in 1960. Manuel was a hard-working family man who cherished every moment he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his favorite past times was playing and listening to music and he knew how to play many instruments. Manuel was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son: Valentin Maga?a; one sister: Juana Maga?a Dominguez; one cousin: Ricardo Garcia; one grandson: Frankie Vargas and one granddaughter: Crystal Maga?a.

Manuel is survived by his wife: Isidra V. Maga?a of the home; two sons: Jessie Maga?a and wife Diana of Plainview and, Daniel Maga?a and wife Cynthia Perez of Plainview; three daughters: Lucinda Maga?a and husband Luis Melenderez of Plainview, Janie Campos and husband Isidro of Petersburg and Rosa Maga?a and husband Fidel Torres of Plainview; one sister: Maria Elena Luna of Houston; 27 grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
