McCaskill, Jimmy (J.B.)

Jimmy ?J.B? McCaskill, 65 of Plainview passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

J.B. was born on November 18, 1953 in Dumas, Texas to Charles Daniel and Betty Ruth (Venable) McCaskill. He married Beverly Day on August 17, 1972 in Amarillo. He moved to Plainview in 1981 and worked as an equipment operator at the Plainview Fire Department for 23 years. He was a member of BPOE Elks Lodge #1175 and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his father Charles McCaskill and a son, Kevin McCaskill.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly McCaskill of Plainview; his mother, Betty Sulivan and husband Jim of Amarillo; a son, Jimmy McCaskill and wife Erin of Lubbock; a daughter, Trixie Pendergrass of Plainview; a daughter-in-law Jennifer McCaskill of McHenry, IL; two granddaughters, Kyler Beth Pendergrass of Plainview, Paige McCaskill of Lubbock; his grandson Matthew McCaskill of McHenry, IL;a brother, Michael McCaskill of Amarillo; two sister-in-laws, Diane Carter of Clarendon, Letta Day of Amarillo.
