Perez, Robert

Robert Perez, 72, passed away on October 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held at 6 P.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Perez was born on August 7, 1943 in Pearsall, Texas. He married Juanita ?Janie? Garza on January 17, 1968 in Plainview. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2017. Mr. Perez retired from Martin Resources formally Zipp Industries after 40 years of employment. Mr. Perez loved football and was an avid Texas Tech Fan. He loved gardening, golfing and going to movies. Mr. Perez was deovoted to his family. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ernest Cantu.

Mr. Perez is survived by, two daughters, Sheila Ramirez & husband Ruben of Plainview and Norma Bullard & husband Keith of Odessa; two sons, Jerry Perez & wife Patricia of San Antonio and Johnny Perez of Keller; two brothers, David Mancha and JR Lopez; one sister, Santos Pena eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
