Elida Lopez, 62, of Plainview, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Services will be held in Plainview at Faith Christian Fellowship on Tuesday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Jeremy Sepeda officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Bartley Funeral Home.

Elida was born on Feb 14, 1956 in Edinburg, Texas to Guadalupe and Guadalupe (Salazar) Maciel. She attended Plainview High School. She married Arturo Lopez on May 4th, 1972 in Silverton, TX. She worked for the Walmart Distribution Center for 32 years as Quality Assurance and was very dedicated.

Elida was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved online shopping. She also enjoyed shopping for antiques and wood furniture. She was a very precise woman who liked to have everything in order. She loved her kids, grandkids, and greats above all.

She is survived by her husband Arturo Lopez, and two sons; Javier ?Fernando? Lopez and wife, Irma, of Plainview and Francisco Lopez and wife, Jobita, of Plainview.

Sisters; Adela Reyes and husband, Merced, of Plainview, Dora Salazar of Plainview, Juanita Maciel Munoz of Gainsville, Texas, Josephine Gonzalez and husband, Pablo, of Plainview, and Sylvia Maciel and husband, Bernardo Ortiz, of Plainview.

Brothers; Jose Luis Maciel and wife, Adela, of Plainview, Guadalupe Maciel Jr. of Plainview, and Antonio Maciel of Lubbock.

Grandchildren; Stephanie Nicole Martinez, Melissa Lee Lopez, Javier Lopez Jr., Jacob Lopez, and Joshua Lopez.

Great-grandchildren; Kylie Avalon Martinez and Mileena Bay Martinez

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Julia Nita Rodriguez.

Pallbearers: Javier Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Khaz Heads, Michael Reyes Jr., Jr. Rey Martinez, and Ryan Martinez.
