Rodriquez, Luis, Mrs. (Dora Rivas)

Dora Rodriquez, 89 of Hale Center, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 o? clock in the morning on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Elias Morales, pastor of Church of the Living God, officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 o?clock in the evening on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Dora was born on February 24, 1929 to Francisco and Esmerehilda Rivas in Campbellton, Texas. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Dora married Luis Rodriquez on August 16, 1951 in Rochester, Texas. They were happily married until his passing in 1993. She attended Church of the Living God in Hale Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; four brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter, Cassie Gallardo.

Dora is survived by three sons: Feliz Rodriquez and wife Susan; David Rodriquez and wife Hope all of Hale Center and Victor Rodriquez and wife Laura of Portland, Tennessee; two daughters: Selia Gonzalez and husband Esequiel of Littlefield, Texas and Florinda Gallardo and husband Gabriel of Sanger, Texas; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
