Muniz, Jaime

Jaime Muniz, 42 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12 o? clock in the afternoon on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely as celebrant. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited 6 o? clock in the evening on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jaime was born on April 20, 1976 to Celestino and Pauline Muniz in Plainview, TX. He attended Plainview High School. Jaime loved riding motorcycles, playing handball and wrestling. He had a great sense of humor and would always put a smile on your face. He enjoyed listening to music; especially SPM. Jaime never met a stranger; he was always willing to make new friends. He was of the Catholic faith. Jaime was deeply loved and cared about by so many people and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Pedro Muniz.

Jaime is survived by his mother: Elsa Muniz of Plainview; step father: Adam Tonche; one sister: Elizabeth Navarrete and husband Alejandro Hernandez, his brother: Johnny Muniz, one son: Elijah Honesto and one step son: Je?Shua Honesto both of Plainview; two daughters: Rachelle Ayala of Plainview and Maricella Muniz of San Antonio; one step daughter: Destine Gilbert of Plainview; four nieces: Ajoni Muniz, Elisa Navarrete, Stacie Muniz and Pauline Muniz all of Plainview, two nephews: Jimmy Navarrete and Jonathan Romero of Plainview and one granddaughter: Heaven Ayala.
