Rodriguez, Jose, Mrs. (Margarita Cerna)

Margarita Cerna Rodriguez, 88 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10 o? clock in the morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely as celebrant. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o? clock in the evening on Tuesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Those Left to cherish her memory are nine daughters; Mary Rodriguez and husband Dimas of Fort Worth, TX, Janie Lujan of Amarillo, TX, Josie Perez and husband Lazaro Jr. of Plainview, TX, Lupe Roberson and husband Jim of San Antonio, Texas, Anita Rodriguez and Raymond Perez of Plainview, Texas, Rosemary Maldonado and Husband Marcos of Winchester, California, Marylou Pichardo and husband Frank of Plainview, Texas, Dalia Rodriguez and Gonzalo Porras of Plainview, Texas and Sulema Salazar and husband Edward, of Plainview, Texas, her two sons; Jessie Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas and Ruben Rodriguez of Plainview, Texas. She was also survived by her brother Leon Cerna and wife Esther of Houston, Texas; 34 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great- grandchildren.

Margarita was preceded in death by; her husband Jose Rodriguez, daughter Celia Rodriguez Arambula, grandson Albert Luna, granddaughter Yvette Lujan and five brothers.
