Rodriguez, Fidencio D. (F.D.)

Fidencio (F.D.) D. Rodriguez, 83, passed away on Saturday August 18, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018 at Kornerstone.

F.D. was born on January 16, 1935 in Sonora, Texas to Gregorio and Manuelita Rodriguez. He married the love of his life Antonia Hernandez on August 31, 1958. F.D. was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, he served his parish as a Cursillista, and was a Knight of Columbus. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, but he loved his family even more.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Antonia ?Toni? Rodriguez of Plainview; his children, Nora Huelster and husband Michael of Amarillo, Robert Rodriguez of Temple, and Ray Rodriguez and wife Norma of Temple; one brother, Raul Rodriguez and wife Lala of Porterville, CA; two sisters Connie Guzman and Guadalupe Perez both of Porterville, CA; eight grandchildren, Sherrikee Pena and husband Maniel, Monik Molina, Raynaldo Rodriguez II, Tiffany Rodriguez, Krystal Rodriguez, Kayla Rodriguez, Kathryn Huelster, and Jacquelyne Huelster; eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sonia Rodriguez; a brother, Gregorio Rodriguez Jr.; three sisters, Maria Delgado, Frances Rodriquez, and Gloria Rodriguez.
