Rodriguez, Felix,Jr. (El Bebe)

Felix "El Bebe" Rodriguez, Jr. 83 of Petersburg passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018. He was born May 18, 1935 to Felix C. and Feliciana (Garcia) Rodriguez in Beeville, Texas. Felix married Anita M. Ovalle in Mathis, Texas on August 30, 1952. He worked in the farming industry for many years as well as Excel Cooperation and as a welder until he retired. Felix's hobbies included fishing, going to the casinos, and scratching lotto tickets. He loved singing to his grandchildren and playing jokes on them. Felix was also a Cursillista, Rollista and he spread the word of God for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Anita; children, Johnny (Emma) of Plainview, Sylvia of Petersburg, Lolly (Johnny) of Bow, Washington, Ruben (Donna) of Abernathy, David (Ellisa) of Petersburg; siblings, Emilio (Eladia) of Hobbs, New Mexico, Benita Gauna (Juan) of Pasadena; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix, Sr. and Feliciana; son, Joey Rodriguez; brother, Bernardo Rodriguez; sister, Maria Lucio.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be cited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Sacred Heart in Petersburg with interment to follow at Petersburg Cemetery.
