Jackson, James Edward (Little Rush)

Church Services for James Edward Jackson ?Little Rush?, 63, of Clovis, NM, formerly of Plainview, will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Happy Union Baptist Church 210 Bullock Street in Plainview with Pastor H.K. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson passed from this life on August 3, 2018 in Lubbock.

James was born on May 14, 1955 in Plainview to Herbert Lee and Betty (Pile) Jackson. He graduated from High School and went on to become an Insurance Adjustor for Apex Collision. He married Wanda Marshall on September 3, 1987 at United Baptist Church.

James was an avid golfer and a true Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was a family man and had a strong faith in the Lord.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Wanda Jackson of Clovis, NM., his children; Latisha and LaQuita Allen of Midland, Chris Jackson of Ft. Worth, Tomeka Jackson of Arlington, and J.R. Jackson of Arlington, his siblings, Herbert ?Sam? Jackson and wife Margie, Edith Dunn, Wallace Jackson, Shelia Jackson, Donna Jones and husband Norman, Andrew Jackson and wife Rhonda and Ned Jackson, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Herbert Lee and Betty Jackson, his in-laws; O.C. and Nannie Marshall, and two of his siblings; Mary Lee Johnson and Tina McKelvey.
