Arthur Loredo?s legacy began March 22, 1953 in San Juan, Texas. He met the love of his life, Frances Gomez, and their love story began October 17, 1953. Arthur proudly served in the US Army and received a Bachelor?s Degree in Occupational Science and Criminology from Wayland Baptist University. Arthur believed strongly in the value of people and in their abilities and human dignity. This belief allowed him to have an impact on people by making a deep personal connection through mentoring and being a father figure to many young people.
Arthur was a proud member of his church and devout to the teachings and obligations. He helped in fund-raisers for many non-profit organizations, many which were close to his heart, CMN Faith in Sharing House. He was a practical joker, and gun and knife collector, a gardener and loved restoring vehicles. Arthur cherished each (and every) time he played pool with his son. Conversation came easy and he used his life experiences to prove ?God always had the last word.? Arthur was of the Catholic faith and will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe Guttierrez and Francisco Casarez; step father: Esteban Gutierrez, one son: Kevin Michael Loredo; and one brother: Daniel Hernandez.
Chivo is survived by his wife: Frances of the home; two daughters: Kimberly Michelle Loredo and Kelly Marie Loredo-Deleon; one son Arthur Loredo Jr. and wife Danyel; special niece: Linda Hernandez all of Plainview; eight siblings: Delia Gutierrez, Bertha Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Raquel Gillman, Margie Aguirre, Steve Gutierrez, Danny Gutierrez, and Rebecca Sterling; nine grandchildren: Nikolas Estrada, Matthew Estrada, Kat Loredo, Kamryn Deleon, Malachi Loredo, Maliki Hinojosa, Makynze Hinojosa, Marley Loredo and Mahlia Loredo; and twenty-eight nieces and nephews.
