Cox, Larry E.

Larry E. Cox, 72 of Plainview, passed from this life on July 13, 2018. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bartley Funeral Home. The family will have a private service at a later date.

Larry was born on April 28, 1946 in Plainview to J.B. and Beulah (Hudgins) Cox. He enlisted in the Army during the Vietnam war. He was stationed in Germany.

Mr. Cox was a carpenter and framer. He framed houses in and around Plainview. He also drove a module truck for Edcot Gin. Larry was a proud member of the local VFW.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son; Joe Don Cox and wife Andrea of San Antonio, sister; Shirley Cook of Plainview, and two grandchildren; Addison and Wyatt Cox of San Antonio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; J.B. and Beulah Cox and his brother; Clarence Cox.
