Mogg, Troy G.

Troy G. Mogg, 71 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Troy was born on October 31, 1946 to Floyd Lee and Emma Ruth Mogg in Liberal, KS. He enjoyed fishing and watching western movies. Troy married Sandra Len in April of 2002 and they loved going to the casinos together. After 35 years with the company, Troy retired from Pioneer Seed on October 28, 2011. Troy was a loving father, brother and grandfather that will be dearly missed. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents and 2 brothers: Eddie Joe and Hershell Lee Mogg.

Troy is survived by 2 sons: Kenny Troy Mogg and wife Jessica Ann of Glendale, KY, and Nick Mogg and wife Cassie of Lockney; 1 daughter: Amber Hamilton and husband of Plano, TX; 2 step sons: Derek McLain and wife Angie and Jeran McLain and wife Amanda all of Amarillo; 3 brothers: Jimmy Mogg of Shallowater, TX, Rex and Rick Mogg both of Plainview, 1 sister: Louise Kirby of Kerrville, and 11 grandchildren: Trenton, Kiera, Patricia, Marek and Beckham Mogg, Maddie Brandel, Breanna, Callie, Alyssa, Dax and Addison McLain.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hale Center City Hall, Attn: Caudle Lake, PO BOX 532, Hale Center, TX 79041.
