Brown, Kenneth Ray,Sr.

Kenneth Ray Brown, Sr., 83, of Plainview passed away on June 21, 2018. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 25, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Kornerstone.

He was born October 28, 1934 in Rush Springs, OK to Charlie Monroe and Euna Beryl (Schoonover) Brown. Mr. Brown was a farmer and worked for Plainview Independent School District for 18 years before retiring. He greeted everyone with a smile and enjoyed having lots of conversation, he was one who never met a stranger. He loved being with his children and grandchildren and especially loved picking on them and scaring them with scary stories, especially at Halloween.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers, Bill Brown and Travis Brown and a sister, Patricia Johnson.

Survivors include his two sons, Kenneth ?Kenny? Brown, Jr. and wife Michelle of Canyon, TX, Lyn Brown and wife Stacy of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Joy Couch of Kilgore, TX; one aunt, Zelma Perry of Plainview, TX; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
