Pollard, David Allen

Pastor David Allen Pollard, 54, of Plainview died on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held on May 25, 2018 at 2 P.M. at College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

David was born on June 26, 1963 to Bennie Allen and Carol Ann (Reeves) Pollard. He married Pamela Jean Glaze on June 27, 1987 in Duncanville, Texas. He was the pastor at Seth Ward Baptist Church. David had a love of God and loved sharing God's word. He loved his family both the family he was born with and the family he chose. He loved the freedom of the open road on his bike. He loved his outreach programs especially the children of Seth Ward. He reached out and loved everyone regardless of their pasts. The music chosen today was done with his love of music in mind.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Carol Pollard.

He is survived by his wife Pamela of Plainview, a daughter, Victoria Pollard also of Plainview; two brothers, Duane Pollard and wife Kimberly of The Colony, Texas, Dennis Pollard and wife Reba of Lancaster, Texas; and a sister, Lisa Mayfield and husband John of Red Oak, Texas
