Perry, Carolyn Jane Wells

Carolyn Jane Perry, 66, of Plainview, Texas, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2009. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2009, in the Family Life Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart officiating and David Milstead assisting. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Mrs. Perry was born June 14, 1942, in Paris, Ark., to Darrett Murray and Elizabeth Lea Wells. She moved to Plainview in 2008 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Denton, Texas.

Survivors include two daughters, Deanna Mason and husband Steve of Plainview and Sheila Robinson and husband Allyn of Holyoke, Colo.; one son, Joey Borchardt of Plainview; the father of her children, Jimmy Borchardt of Irving, Texas; one sister, Ann Sandford and husband Thad of Fullerton, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrett and Elizabeth Wells; one sister, Betty Harrel; and one brother, Don Wells.
