Raul M. Garcia, Sr., 70, of Plainview passed from this life on June 16, 2018 in Plainview, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview Texas. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, Texas.

Raul was born on February 13, 1948 to Manuel and Virginia Garcia in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico. He married Lille De La Cruz on August 21, 1971 in Willard, OH. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was accepting and willing to know and accept anyone and everyone. He loved his grandchildren and he loved music.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mando Garcia and one sister Maria De Garcia Ramirez.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lillie Garcia of Plainview; six children, Barbara Garcia of Plainview, Laura Reyes & husband Andrew Reyes, Jr. of Kress, Ashley Gonzales of Plainview, Raul Garcia, Jr. of Plainview, Jose Garcia of Plainview & Arturo Garcia of Plainview; brothers, Ricardo M. Garcia & wife Dora of Plainview, Ramiro M. Garcia & wife Manuela of Plainview, Daniel Charles of Del Rio; sisters, Guadalupe Zuniga & husband Jose Carmelo of Del Rio, Mary Pacheco & husband Heriberto of Plainview and Lety Hernandez & husband Otto, Sr. of Plainview; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way.
