Wilson, Jake, Mrs. (Betty J. Hudson)

Betty J. Wilson, 94, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Her services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Trinity Life Church with Steve Rogers, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Betty June was born to the late William and Jessie Hudson in Tillman County, Oklahoma on March 15, 1924. She married Jake Wilson on January 3, 1942 in Frederick, Oklahoma and they had four children. She went back to school to get her nursing degree in her late 50?s. It was her heart?s desire to help and serve others. She moved from her beloved home and Church, Trinity Fellowship, in Plainview three and a half years ago to be closer to family in Dallas. She spent her last three years making new friends and evangelizing at her new home of Whiterock Court in Dallas. She loved attending Munger Place Church in Dallas.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jake, and her parents William and Jessie Hudson; sister, Mary Daniels; and two brothers, Bill Hudson and Kenneth Hudson.

She is survived by her children, Larry Wilson and wife Gwyn of Dallas, Texas, Patty Taylor of Frisco, Texas, Marc Wilson and wife Carolyn of Burlington, Vermont, Richard Wilson and wife Rosie of Richmond, Texas; sister, Kathryn Fate of Spring Hill, Florida; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
