Settle, Ricky Lee, Mrs. (Phyllis Dee Roberts)

TULIA - Phyllis Dee Settle, 65, of Tulia passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014.

She was born Sep. 2, 1949, in California to Elmer Ewell Roberts and Bettie Joyce Messimer. She grew up in Kress. She was a loving mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ricky Lee Settle; her brother Aaron Roberts; and her son Jerohme Dale Widener.

She is survived by her parents-in-law, Joe and Roberta; her siblings, Cleta, Frankie, Barbara and Kathy; her children, Daron, JT and Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Big Ashley, Kolby, Little Ashley, Stephanie, Wesley, Victoria, James and Kelsey; her great-grandchildren, Ashton, McKenzie, Cameron, CJ, Hunter, Bryson and Sylas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at the Church of the Nazarene in Plainview with Pastor Doug Yates. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.
