Refugia ?Cuca? Villalpando, 79, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Plainview, Texas. Rosary will be recited in Lemons Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 7-8 p.m. Celebration of mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Services are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.
Mrs. Villalpando was born in Spur, TX. on July 15, 1935 to the late Manuel and Manuela (Luna) Hernandez. Mrs. Villalpando was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mrs. Villalpando loved gardening, especially roses, she never met a stranger in her life, and she was always giving even when she had to do without; she always had good advice, but most of all she was a friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Manuel and Manuela sons; Raymundo Villalpando Jr., and Roberto ?Bobby? Gallardo.
Those left to cherish her memory are; four daughters; Sylvia Villalpando, Gloria Guajardo, Nina Galvan, Cornia Villalpando. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way.
