Lopez, Joe, Mrs. (Arsenia Villarreal)

Arsenia Lopez, 80, of Lubbock went to be with her Heavenly Father on Nov. 19, 2014.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, in Lemons Memorial Chapel, with Oscar Chavez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lopez was born on Dec. 14, 1933, in Sinton, Texas, to the late Pedro and Modesta (Aguilar) Villarreal. She married Joe Lopez in July of 1942 in Florence, AZ. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2013. She spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. Mrs. Lopez loved to quilt; she was a very benevolent person, with a very generous heart. Besides her love for Christ, her family was her most important passion in life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Modesta; husband, Joe; one son, Daniel; and three brothers.
