Juarez, Minnie Salas

Minnie S. Juarez, age 78, passed away on February 12, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A prayer service will be held on Friday evening at 7:00P.M. in the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Minnie was born on August 12, 1938 in Waco to Jose Sr. and Elvira (Zavela) Salas Sr. Minnie worked as a seamstress and loved to sew and iron. She made lots of beautiful clothes and her children fondly remember her at her ironing board. She was a member of Templo Casa de Orcion.
Minnie is survived by her children, Jimmy Joe Juarez and wife Geneva of Plainview, Larry Wayne Juarez of Plainview and Danny Juarez and wife Sylvia of Carrizo Springs, daughters, Dora Favila of Garden City, Kansas and Caroline Cerda of Odessa, her brother, Tony Salas, fourteen grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jose Salas Jr. and Teddy Alvarez, and sister, Lotti Alvarez.
