Shuping, Vic, Mrs. (Judy K. Hamilton)

Judy K. Hamilton Shuping, age 64, passed away on February 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Judy was born on January 17, 1954 to Juanita (Love) and Elmer D. Hamilton. She moved to Plainview when she was five and graduated from Plainview High School in 1973. During high school, she met the man who would become the love of her life, Vic Shuping. They eventually married on July 1, 1973.

Vic and Judy move to Amarillo where she worked at the TSTI cafeteria; until they moved back to Plainview.

Judy worked as a cook for the Plainview Independent School district for many years. She than began working with Vic at the RC Mangum machine shop. She worked by his side learning to build and tear down motors. They opened their own machine shop named J&S engine; Judy enjoyed working with her husband. A special mention for her brother-in-law, Joe Don Marshall, who was such a big help and he will never know how much Judy and Vic appreciated all his help and unconditional love. Judy loved spending time with her family, especially Vic, Jimmy and Sabrina. They loved to go four wheeling and had a blast doing it. She also loved to travel and especially going to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Judy loved dogs and cats; but, cats were by far her favorite animal. She had her favorite cat Bunny for 22 years.

Judy battled cancer for over almost four years. She fought courageously dealing with all the treatments.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Vic Shuping of Plainview, her son, Jimmy Shuping of New Home, and daughter Sabrina Shuping of Plainview, her grandchildren, Annemissis, Emren, and Anayshia, her sisters, Brenda Marshall of Tulia, Nancy Cox of Plainview, and Linda Presley of Plainview.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Johnny and Bruce Hamilton.
