McDaniel, Kit, Mrs. (Louise Holt)

Louise McDaniel, 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Garland Street Church of Christ with Max Pratt, Pastor of Ninth Street Church of Christ in Ballinger officiating and Kevin Igo assisting. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Kornerstone.

Louise was born on November 20, 1925 in Floyd County, Texas to Edgar Joseph and Mamie Lee (Mercer) Holt. She married Kit McDaniel on February 9, 1945 in Plainview, Texas. He passed away on February 22, 2004. She was a homemaker, worked as a teacher?s aide at Hale Center Junior High and later operated Nannie?s and Papa?s Daycare in Hale Center for 15 years. Her favorite job was working for Kornerstone as a receptionist.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter, Barbara who died in 1960.

She is survived by two daughters, Randa McDaniel of San Angelo, Texas and Kaila Blesing and her husband Rondle of Ballinger, Texas; one brother, Neil Holt of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Janette Young and husband Homer of Cleburne, Texas, Pat Hooper and husband Joseph of Ft. Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Sarah Christian and husband Seth, David Blesing and wife Hanna; and three great grandchildren, Will and Whitney Christian and Kelbi Blesing.
