Molly James, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel with Oscar Chavez, Chaplain of Area Community Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview
Molly was born on March 27, 1944 in Plainview, Texas to M.E. ?Bud? and Florence ?Mutt? Florida. She grew up in Hale Center and attended schools there. She moved to Plainview and owned and operated her own nail salon. She later worked as a manager of apartment complexes for McDougal until she retired. She loved to crochet and spent hours crocheting scarves for the homeless and enjoyed teaching a crochet class.
She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Sahinler and husband Bolkar; a son, Marshall Scott James, all of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Virginia Reyna and Kitty Dorn; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
