Garcia, Armando (Mando), Mrs. (Paula Casillas)

Paula Garcia, 87, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel with Oscar Chavez, Chaplain for Area Community Hospice officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Kornerstone.

Paula was born on April 2, 1930 in Torrington, Wyoming to Jose and Maria (Madrid) Casillas. She married Armando ?Mando? Garcia on January 15, 1968 in Dumas, Texas. He passed away on September 1, 2017. She was a homemaker, was a great cook and enjoyed serving her husband and family. She was always the greatest host.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Anita.

She is survived by one daughter, Tami Wagner and Felipe Castillo of Plainview; two sons, Jose Louis Casillas of Cleburne, Texas, Michael A. Garcia of Plainview; three brothers, Jose Casillas and wife Clara of San Antonio, Texas, Valentine Casillas and wife Carmen of Elsa, Texas, Thomas Casillas and wife Chita of Cleburne, Texas; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
