Price, Wesley, Mrs. (Susan M. (Susie) Welch)

Susan M. Price, 61, of Plainview, passed from this life on December 29, 2017 at home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A Celebration of her Life is scheduled for a later date.

Susie, as everyone knew her, was born on August 4, 1956 in Pampa to Jimmie Wayne and Leaora (Stokes) Welch. She married Wesley Price and from this union had four children; Robert, Sandy, Lindie, and Keith.

Susie worked at Amigos for many years in the Bakery as a cake decorator until she retired. She loved to decorate cakes, do different crafts, and cook. She also enjoyed playing Dirty Marbles with her family and friends. Susie was a very talented and compassionate person. She and Wesley raised their family in Pampa, Tx where she was a shift manager at Braums until 1994 when they moved to Plainview. Her family was her greatest treasure and you didn't have to be blood to be a part of it. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; Wesley Price of Plainview, children; Robert Price of Beeville, Sandy Price Yokum and husband Mike of League City, Lindie Willey and husband Travis of Pampa, and Keith Price and wife Sarah of Stinnett, mother; Leaora (Stokes, Welch) Perry of Plainview and Jessie Kennedy of Hale Center, brother; Wayne Welch and Diane of Lubbock, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and adopted children.

She was preceded in death by her father Jimmie Wayne Welch, stepfather JR Perry, and granddaughter Candace Vernon.
