Archer, Kayla Renee Rodriguez

Kayla Renee Rodriguez Archer, 15, of Lockney passed away on Friday December 22, 2017. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, December 26, 2017 at Garland Street Church of Christ from 7-9 P.M. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Garland Street Church of Christ with Mr. Steve Gauntt officiating and Mr. Jackie Qualls assisting. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Kayla was born on May 30, 2002 in Lubbock, Texas. Kayla was a vibrant young lady and loved writing poems and drawing. She loved her mom and also her cats.

Kayla is survived by her mom, Janie Archer of Lockney; grandfather, Red Archer and wife Alane of Lockney; aunts and uncle; Cathy Archer of Lockney, Wilmer and Debbie Archer of Lockney; cousins, Cinnamon Riley, Candy Hill, Jeremy Hill; numerous other cousins; and a special friend Nathaniel.

The family suggests memorials in Kayla?s memory to Garland Street Church of Christ or Cal Farley?s Boys Ranch.
