Georgia Castillo, 66, of Haltom City and formerly of Hale Center, died Monday, December 11, 2017, in Ft. Worth. Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, December 14, 2017, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 15, 2017, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Fr. Sylvester DSouza officiating. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Hale Center.

Georgia was born September 20, 1951, in Mathis, Texas, to Genaro and Manuela (Martinez) Garcia. She graduated from Hale Center High School in 1970. On June 27, 1970, she married Roberto Castillo in Hale Center. Georgia had an amazing sense of humor that drew people to her. Her charisma had a special way of making people feel comfortable. She had strong moral values that had lasting effects on the children she cared for. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law, Robert Hinojosa Jr. and a great-niece, Isabelle Rocha.

Survivors include her husband, Roberto Castillo of Haltom City, two sons, Rocky Castillo of Haltom City and Joe Castillo and his wife April of Haltom City, one daughter, Roberta Castillo of Ft. Worth, three brothers, Junior Garcia of Hale Center, John Garcia and his wife Irma of Lubbock, Ricky Garcia and his wife Josie of Ozark, AR, and four sisters, Gloria Calderon and her husband Frank of Euless, Lupe Castillo and her husband Richard of Hale Center, Linda Hinojosa of Newark, Texas, and Christine Reyna and her husband Cruz of Hale Center. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Andrea Larrazolo, Rocky Isaiah Castillo, Elias Castillo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
