Shaw, Freddie, Mrs. (Mary Lynn Bond)

Memorial Services for Mary Lynn Shaw, 68, of Lubbock, TX and formerly of Abernathy, TX will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, December 3, 2017 in the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy.

Mrs. Shaw died Friday, December 1, 2017, in Lubbock.

She was born December 28, 1948 to Barry and Wanda Jean (Bowlin) Bond in Wichita Falls, TX. Mary graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married Freddie Shaw on November 17, 1968 in Lubbock, TX. They moved to Abernathy in 1973 and shared 41 years together prior to his death on June 10, 2010. Mary enjoyed fishing and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mary is survived by her children John Bryan Shaw of Lubbock, Traci Noretta Fox and husband, Calvin, of San Angelo, TX, and Rebecca Lynne Haney and husband, Dennis, of Lubbock, grandchildren Justin, Ashley, Chelsea, Shelby, Colton, Dalton, Aaron, Hayden, and Aiden, 9 great-grandchildren, sister Peggy Roberts of Mississippi, sister-in-law Betty Steinheimer and partner James Parker of Groesbeck, TX, and niece Cindy Baldwin of Austin, TX.
