Gallardo, Gilbert M.

Gilbert M. Gallardo, 54, of Plainview, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2017.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

Gilbert was born on September 30, 1963 in Plainview to Willie Gallardo, III and Rosa Medina Gallardo. He worked for many years at the Co-op. Gilbert was a jokester who loved teasing people. He loved his family and was so kind to them. Gilbert was a hard-working man. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. Everyone who knew Gilbert loved being around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gallardo, III.; his grandfather, Willie Gallardo, Jr. and his maternal grandparents, Rafael and Candelaria Medina.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rosa Gallardo; his son, Jeremy Campos, of Plainview; one brother, Willie Gallardo, IV and his wife Roseann of Austin, Minnesota; four sisters, Lupe Gallardo, Rosemary Gallardo, Corina Gutierrez and her husband Victor and Ruby Alcala and her husband Frederick, all of Plainview. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
