Terry Mulanax, 60, passed away on Oct. 29, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Main Street Church of Christ with Owen Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Petersburg Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Mr. Mulanax was born on June 19, 1957, to Travis and Nadiene (Moffett) Mulanax in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Cotton Center High School in 1975. His life could be summed up in one word, selfless. He served the youth of Petersburg through the Little League program as president for 12 years and coached countless teams for over 30 years. He raised his sons on baseball fields before they were old enough to play themselves. He volunteered to help in any way needed with events at the school ranging from running chains at the football games to helping at local stock shows. He was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan. Terry retired from Hale County Precinct 2 in Petersburg after 31 years as a heavy equipment operator.

He is preceded in death by his father, Travis Mulanax.

He is survived by three sons, Brooks Mulanax and wife Laci of Shallowater, TX, Hunter Mulanax of Lexington, Kentucky, Logan Mulanax of Lubbock, TX; his mother, Nadiene Mulanax; two brothers, Wayne Mulanax and wife Delores of Petersburg, Cliff Mulanax and wife Sheri of La Vernia, TX; two sisters, Carla Wigington and husband Bobby Wigington of Ackerly, TX, Lanita Mulanax of Amarillo, TX and three grandchildren, Kadience Mulanax, Brantley Mulanax and Deklyn Mulanax.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Petersburg Little League Baseball and Main Street Church of Christ in Petersburg, Texas.
