Olive, Bobby Lee, Mrs. (Betty Louise Bristow)

PETERSBURG -- Betty Louise Bristow Olive, of Petersburg, left her temporary home for her eternal home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017. She was born July 12, 1928, in Jud, Texas, to Oather Stevens Bristow and Minnie Lee Taylor Bristow. On Nov. 14, 1947, she married Bobby Lee Olive of Silverton, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Dwain Bristow. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Mary Olive of Midland, Texas, and Larry and Elaine Olive of Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren, Jeremy Olive and his wife Tammy, Laura Sanders and her husband Will, Leanne Olive, Andy Olive; four great-grandchildren, Catcher Olive, Wyatt Olive, Brent Sanders and Olivia Sanders; a sister, Sandra Bristow Watkins of Dallas, Texas.

Graveside services will be Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Petersburg Cemetery, under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Petersburg Library.
