Lambert, Dick L.

Dick L. Lambert of Lubbock was born Sept. 30, 1941 in Abernathy to John Herman Lambert and Mary Will Douthit Lambert. He served in the United States Army for 33 years, retiring as master sergeant. After retiring from the Army, he was employed with the Civil Service Army Depot in Waco, and after retirement from Civil Service, he returned to Lubbock .

He died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at his brother's residence in Lubbock.

Mr. Lambert is survived by two brothers, LaDoyce Lambert and his wife Gloria of Odessa, and Sherrell Lambert and his wife Robbie of Lubbock; and nieces and nephews, Sebrina Carroll of Lubbock, Rick Lambert of Garland, and Amy Lambert of Dallas.

Private family services were held and burial was at the Abernathy Cemetery. Arrangements are by Abell Funeral Home in Abernathy.
