Loyd, Donald Gordon

Don G. Loyd, 79, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died February 21, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born March 29, 1934 in Atkins, Arkansas.

Don retired from Stephens Production Company as a petroleum land man. He was of the Baptist faith.

Don is survived by a daughter, Janet Ann Loyd of Fort Smith; her son Michael Ray Loyd and his wife Dianne of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Robin Netherton, Harry Rinehart, Terry Loyd, Stacy Querner and Christy Brown and four great grandchildren, Shayla and Alice Netherton Spencer and Sam Querner.

Don is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Loyd.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 24, 2014 at Abernathy Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, Fort Smith, AR.
