McCoy, Fred D.

Services for Fred D. McCoy, 77, of Lubbock will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Richard Butts officiating. Burial will follow at the Abernathy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Sanders Funeral Home.

Mr. McCoy passed away on November 18, 2014.

Fred was born January 25, 1937 in Wanette, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Carolyn Campbell on January 24, 1969 in Lubbock, TX. Fred was a carpenter and general contractor. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Loved ones include wife of forty six years; Children include Fred A. McCoy of Lubbock; Bill McCoy of Shallowater, Wayne Powers of Shallowater, Tina Willeby of Shallowater, Cheryl Tucker of Albuquerque, NM; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brother, Joe McCoy of Chino Valley, Arizona and sister, Betty Hadley of Jacksonville, FL.

Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army of Lubbock.
