Rodriquez, Antonio P. III

Rosary for Antonio P. Rodriquez, III, 60, of Lubbock, will be 7 p.m. today, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Abernathy City Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Antonio passed away Friday, May 9, 2008. He was born on Sept. 11, 1947 to the late Antonio (1984) and Anita Rodriquez in Sidney, Mont. He worked for Sheppard Air Force base in the early 70's before moving to Lubbock in 1977. After moving to Lubbock, he worked as a barber for Hershey's Barber Shop. He also worked as a concrete layer. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include three sons, Dr. Antonio, IV and wife, Francine Rodriquez, of Laredo, Richard Rodriquez, of Ark., Martin and wife. Gracie Rodriquez. of Hale Center; three daughters, Nora and husband, Randy Contreras, of Lubbock, Julie and husband, Ernest Loera, of Austin, Sandra Garza, of Lubbock; his ex-wife, Irma Saenz of Lubbock; his mother, Anita Rodriquez, of Lubbock; twenty grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
