Nunez, Robert, Mrs. (Herlinda (Linda) Hernandez)

Herlinda "Linda" Nunez, 64, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Herlinda was born on May 25, 1953, in Plainview, Texas. She married Robert Nunez on May 29, 1967, in Plainview, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Nunez of Plainview; two sons, Steven Nunez and Andria Cuevas of Albuquerque, N.M. and Gilbert Nunez and wife Monica of Plainview; one daughter, Monica Quintero of Plainview; her mother, Isabel Hernandez of Plainview; four brothers, Juan Hernandez and wife Venus of Plainview, Jesse Hernandez of Lubbock, Michael Hernandez of Plainview and Angel Torrez of Nipomo, Calif.; two sisters, Gloria Guerra and husband Luis of Plainview and Brenda DeLaCruz and husband Robert of Plainview; seven grandchildren, Bianca Nunez, Alexadria Nunez, Avery Blake Nunez, Mikalalea Quintero, Esteven Nunez, Mathieu Quintero and Enrique Nunez; and one great-granddaughter, Roselyn Nunez-Moore.
