Pena, Angel

Funeral Mass for Angel Pena, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel.

Mr. Pena died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, in Prairie House Living Center.

He was born Aug. 2, 1913 in Brownsville and married Cruz Bernal on April 4, 1934, in Brownsville. She died Aug. 1, 1999. He moved to Plainview in 1960 from Mathis. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Adoration Nocturne and Cursillistas.

Surviving are three daughters, Juan Perez and Angelita Hernandez, both of Plainview, and Virginia Ysaguirre of Amarillo; three sons, Perfect, Pedro and Gilbert, all of Plainview, 39 grandchildren and 104 great-grandchildren.
