Lucille Denton Moore, 99, of Granbury, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Granbury Care Center.
Graveside service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Texas.
Visitation: 6 ? 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Wiley Funeral Home.
Lucille was born in Moran, Texas to Bud and Mary Maples Denton on December 27, 1916.
She attended school in Ida Belle. She married Elvis ?Pete? Moore, May 1934 at Gorman. Lucille and her husband farmed in the Amity Community in Brown County until they moved to Petersburg in 1952. She owned and operated the Moore?s School Store for 25 years. Lucille was a member of the Petersburg Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors: Son, Donald Moore and wife, Mary Beth, of Granbury; granddaughter, Crystal Cates of Abilene; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delia Walker of Rising Star and several nieces and nephews.
