Mireles, Jose, Mrs. (Martha Nunez)

Martha Mireles, 54, of Midland, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Martha was born Feb. 23, 1963, in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas, Mexico. She was known by many people of Plainview because of her 16-plus years of employment at Bill's Jumbo Burger. Two years ago, she moved to Midland to be closer to her children. While in Midland, she worked at Walmart. Martha was a very happy, kind and loving person. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was such a helpful person and always made herself available to someone in need. Martha was loved by so many and she will be missed. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Plainview.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Lorenzo Nu?ez; her husband, Jose Mireles; two daughters, Michelle Mireles and Daniela Mireles; two sons, Jose Mireles and Oziel Mireles, all of Midland. She is also survived by one grandson; five brothers and two sisters.
