Brewer, Lee Orrin

Graveside services for L.O. Brewer, age 83 of Seminole, Texas will be held Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Plainview Cemetery in Plainview, Texas with Pastor Nelson Gonzales officiating.

All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

The family will greet friends and visitors on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Brewer passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Seminole Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lytton Springs, Texas on October 4, 1930 to Loris Orrin Brewer, Sr. and Emma Lee Culpepper.

He married Martha Lanore Rainer in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11, 1963. He was a Baptist.

L.O. worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Gaines County for twenty years, from 1969 to 1989, and retired with the Department.

He enjoyed horse races and hunting, and he made poker his passion. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.

L.O. Brewer is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lanore, on December 19, 2013; and one brother, Grady (1932-1969).

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Jensen and husband Lynn of Lubbock, Texas and Pam Burrell and husband Dannie of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Loris Brewer, Jr. and wife Mary of Lockhart, Texas; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
