Viviana was a devoted homemaker. She took immense pride in the care she took of her family. She was known as the "neighborhood grandma." If you stopped by to visit, you always left full of her delicious food. It brought her boundless joy to cook for her family and friends. Her family will always cherish the fact that before she left to go "join her beloved husband in her heavenly home," she was able to give them each her blessing one by one. She made sure to tell them that she loved them. They will forever miss their "Wela Chikis."
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Juan; four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Juan Carrillo Jr. and wife Dora of Amarillo and Gilbert Carrillo and wife Libby of Plainview; four daughters, Elena Escobar and husband Virgilio of Eldorado, Texas, Ester Carrizales and husband Hector Solis of Orange, Texas, Veronica Carrillo and husband Manuel Suarez Jr. of Lockney and Lupe Gaona and husband Andrew of Plainview; two sisters, Juana Gomez of Mexico and Irma Carrillo of San Angelo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
