Hernandez, Raymundo, Mrs. (Petra Diaz)

Funeral Mass for Petra Hernandez, 60, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel.

Cremation arrangements are by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hernandez died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in the Lockney Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1939, in Carrizo Springs. She lived in Crystal City before moving to Plainview where she has lived for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

In 1967 she married Raymundo Hernandez.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Elizabeth Hernandez and Susanna Hernandez, both of Plainview; four brothers, Manual Diaz of Almerage, Ariz., Jesus Diaz of Brighton, Colo., and Ricardo Diaz and Jose Diaz, both of Fort Lupton, Colo., four sisters, Lupe Rodriquez of Lockney, Maria Diaz of Longmont, Colo., Gloria Valdez of Greeley, Colo., and Olga Sanchez of Fort Lupton; and nine grandchildren.

Her parents, Jesus and Concepcion Flores Diaz, are deceased.

The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel.
